Who is responsible

North Pantry ("we", "us") operates piprafyferos.com from Toronto, Ontario. We are the organisation responsible for the personal information collected through this site. Questions or requests go to [email protected], which reaches the person who handles privacy for the shop.

What we collect

• Order and inquiry details: your name, email, shipping address and any note you add when you place an order request or send a message.
• Restock email: your email address, if you choose to join the restock list.
• Basic technical logs: our host records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the site running and secure. We do not build advertising profiles from these.

We do not knowingly collect information from children, and we do not ask for more than we need to fulfil your order or answer your message.

Why we collect it (purpose)

• To confirm stock, send you an invoice, and ship your order.
• To answer questions and handle returns or warranty claims.
• To send restock notes, only if you asked for them.
• To keep the website secure and working.

Consent

By placing an order request, contacting us, or joining the restock list, you consent to us using your information for the purpose you gave it. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, subject to any information we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Cookies and tracking

We use only what the site needs to work. Your cart is stored in your browser’s local storage on your own device so it survives a page reload; it is not sent to us until you place an order. We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics that follow you across other sites. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask first where the law requires it.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with the service providers needed to complete your order, namely our shipping carrier (Canada Post) and our payment processor when you pay an invoice. Those providers handle your data under their own agreements and only for that purpose. We may disclose information if required by Canadian law.

Where it is stored and for how long

Order records are kept as long as needed to support returns, warranty and Canadian tax and accounting requirements, then deleted or anonymised. Restock emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Some providers may store data outside Ontario or Canada; where that happens, the information remains subject to the laws of those jurisdictions, and we choose providers that offer reasonable protection.

Your rights: access and correction

Under PIPEDA you can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with how we handled your request, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

We keep personal information protected with reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small shop, and we limit who can see it to the people packing and supporting your order. No method of storage is perfectly secure, but we do not hold your card details on this site.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers will be noted by email where we have one.
