A wide, heavy stockpot that holds a full batch of stock or a braise big enough for leftovers. The enamel coating goes over a steel body, so it heats evenly, does not react with tomatoes or wine, and wipes clean without seasoning. The lid sits tight to keep a low simmer low.

It is oven-safe to 260°C, so you can start a braise on the stove and move the whole pot into the oven without swapping dishes. Heavy enough to hold heat, not so heavy you dread lifting it full.

Care & use

Wash by hand with warm water and a soft sponge. The enamel is tough but not indestructible, so skip the metal scourers and do not bang it against the tap.

  • Let a hot pot cool a little before it hits cold water — thermal shock can craze enamel.
  • Dishwasher-safe, but hand washing keeps the finish looking new far longer.

Good to know

Enamel can chip if you drop it or knock the rim hard. A chip on the outside is cosmetic; a chip on the cooking surface means it is time to retire it. We restock this one in small runs — join the note to catch the next batch.

The enamel-over-steel body heats evenly and does not react with wine, tomato or anything acidic, so flavours stay clean and the surface wipes down without seasoning.
